Thursday Evening: The Double D Wranglers

Bringing you the music of the west…

      CANCELED

The Double D Wranglers has CANCELED this engagement.  We will be making arrangements for new Thursday evening entertainment.

From deep in the heart of the Sandhills of Nebraska, comes Nebraska’s greatest western entertainment.  The Double D Wranglers perform and bring alive the greatest music from American History.  The Wranglers take you back to a place in time where cowboys were the great American heroes.

Double D WranglersThe Wranglers have played all over the country, and continue to bring joy to the hearts of audiences everywhere.

This is award winning musicianship, featuring authentic harmonies, instrumentation, and one of the greatest cowboy yodelers in the country.

This show will entertain all age groups from young to old. The wranglers aren’t only good musicians, they are excellent entertainers.  They are able to get an audience singing and laughing the whole night through.

This isn’t a big stretch for any of these musicians to play the western music that celebrates the life and stories of the cowboys. Chris and Charity Gudgel both have roots deep in the Sandhills of Nebraska as well as the cattle industry.  Paul Siebert also grew up in rural Nebraska, but farther to the southeast.

Chris and Charity have been playing together since 2002, and in 2007 Paul joined them to form the Double D Wranglers.  All of these fine musicians have been playing since childhood, and it shows.  This trio fit together from the start, and have formed an airtight bond that makes the final product a night to remember.

Saturday Evening: Young At Heart Choir

"They came, they charmed, they captivated..."

"Awesome! Energetic! Worshipful! Fun!...breaks the mold as far as Senior Adults stereotype!"

The Young At Heart ministry promotes senior adults’ companionship, fellowship, accountability, and active participation through singing and performance in the communities and churches in and around New Mexico and other states in the USA.

"Young at Heart" Choir

Connie Atkinson, the founder and director of this organization, says, “We walk in the spirit of our youth, while reacting in the wisdom of our age.” As a community choir, YAH performs at churches, retirement homes, and community events throughout the New Mexico area and states around the USA. There are nineteen different denominations represented in this group of over 120 members. The group is comprised of members from the greater Rio Grande area to include: Bernalillo County, Sandoval Country, and Valencia Country. YAH Choir’s audiences range in size of several thousand people to smaller audiences of twenty five to fifty people. There is no fee charged for the performances, but often gifts are given by the audience as they partner with YAH Choir to encourage the ministry.

Presently, the group performs an average of three concerts a month and travels nationally twice a year at its own expense, giving concerts in retirement homes, hospitals, jails and churches large and small, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Kansas, California, Florida, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arizona, Texas and Arkansas and wherever they are invited. Most of the seniors in the YAH organization are of fixed income, and their ages range from 55 to 97 years.
